Kallima paralekta (The Leaf Butterfly)

It's Kallima  (butterfly leaf) a genus from  Nymphalidae  family. I found it in agroforestry in my village, particularly in the shaded area like bamboos grove, thorny palm and tall trees. I always find it in the same place. But, I can't take good pictures because it always flies and perches in a tall tree. I guess I need a telelens to take better pictures.  Actually, I found a video and   pictures of  Kallima paralekta  on Instagram. So beautiful. It looks like tame, approachable. Envy haha :D. It perched on rotten fruit. You can check the video in this  link  and here the pictures. K. paralekta ( Eastjava1212 IG, 2018) This butterfly is the most mesmerizing butterfly I've ever see. It has a mimicry ability. The underside of this butterfly resembles a dead leaf and the upper side, there're stunning blue and orange colour.  Kallima genus has several species. I guess this one is  Kallima paralekta becaus...

I took these pictures in the rice field area. It perched on weeds. This beetle's quite calm, but it was windy. So, it's hard to take and focus the pictures. I tried my best, and Thank God, I got some pictures before it flew.  Scientific Name - Common Name - ID Naturalist 54560127 Location Sumedang, West Java Gear Samsung J5 (2015) + lensbong prosumer 25 mm  Date Mei 7, 2019 Classification Class Insecta - Insects Order Coleoptera  Family Attelabidae Subfamily Apoderinae Species Subspecies
