This is Fringed Spiderflower (Cleome ritudosperma D. C.),  in Indonesia, this plant is called Gunda, Maman Ungu, Maman Lelaki (Kusmana et al., 2013). It has a beautiful tiny flower. So, we need to get closer to see their beauty.
It’s annual weed. The compound, trifoliate leaves, with spiral and alternate phyllotaxy. Bisexual flower, purple, pink with 4 petals. Green fruit, look likes sword 5-7 cm and 4 mm, small multi seed. Hairy square stem, with purple lines.

Ini adalah Fringed Spider (Cleome ritudosperma D. C.),  di Indonesia, tanaman ini disebut Gunda, Maman Ungu, Maman Lelaki. Tanaman ini memiliki bunga cantik yang berukuran sangat kecil. Jadi kita perlu mendekat untuk melihat keindahanya.
Tanaman ini merupakan herba tahunan. Berdaun majemuk, trifoliate, dengan tata letak daun spiral dan alternate. Bunganya biseksual, berwarna ungu atau pink, dengan 4 kelopak bunga. Buahnya berwarna hijau, bentuknya memanjang seperti pedang, sekitar 5-7 cm and 4 mm, dengan biji kecil yang berjumlah banyak. Batang segiempat berrambut, dengan garis-garis ungu.

Habitat
Swamp, watery habitats with wetlands (Kusuma et al., 2013), dyke and open lands (Tim Kehati DLH Surabaya, 2017). I found it in the rice field area as weeds, roadside, and wall cracks.

Habitat berawa dan berair dengan lahan yang basah (Kusuma dkk., 2013) tambak dan lahan terbuka (Tim Kehati DLH Surabaya, 2017). Saya menemukannya di area persawahan sebagai hama, di tepi jalan, dan retakan dinding/tembok.

Utilisation/Pemanfaatan
Eye drops and tobacco mixture (Kusuma et al., 2013). Animal feed such as sheep. 

Sebagai obat tetes mata ataupun campuran tembakau (Kusuma dkk., 2013). Pakan ternak seperti domba.

Pharmacology/Farmakologi
Capparaceae family contains isothiocyanates (mustard oil), flavonoids, and occasionally pyrrolidine alkaloids (Wiart, 2006). Potentially as anti-cancer.

Thrips (Gynaikothrips uzeli), Weeping Fig (Ficus benjamina) Pest, Hama Beringin

This is thrips, one of Weeping Fig ( Ficus Benjamina )   pest. It causes damage to the leaves. The leaves roll and curl, the outer part of the leaf (lower epidermis) shows black and yellow spots. Most of these insects live with their translucent white larvae and eggs on the inside of the leaves. But, some are laying eggs on the outside of the leaves (as in the picture). Ini adalah thrips, salah satu hama pada beringin ( Ficus Benjamina ) . Hama ini menyebabkan kerusakan pada daun. Daun menggulung dan keriting, bagian luar daun (epidermis bawah) terlihat bercak-bercak hitam dan menguning. Kebanyakan serangga ini tinggal bersama larva dan telurnya yang berwarna putih transulen pada bagian dalam daun. Water Clover, Semanggi, Semanggen (Marsilea minuta L.)

This is Water Clover ( Marsilea minuta L.). The local people (Sumedang, West Java; Sundanese) called it "Samanggen", but mostly Indonesian called it "Semanggi". At a glance, it looks like "Creeping Woodsorrel" ( Oxalis corniculata ), even their local names are also the same i.e semanggi. But, both are totally different. Water Clover ( Marsilea minuta L.) is an aquatic fern (Pteridophyta). Conversely, Creeping Woodsorrel ( Oxalis corniculata ) is a terrestrial seed plant (Spermatophyta). Additionally, Water Clover ( Marsilea minuta  L.) is also bigger than Creeping Woodsorrel ( Oxalis corniculata )  Ini adalah Semanggi Air ( Marsilea minuta  L.). Penduduk sekitar (Sumedang, Jawa Barat; Sunda) menyebutnya Semangen, tapi sebagian besar orang Indonesia menyebutnya "Semanggi". Sekilas, tumbuhan ini mirip dengan Semanggi/Daun Asam Kecil ( Oxalis corniculata ), bahkan nama lokanyapun sama Semanggi. Tapi, sebenarnya keduanya sangat berbeda. S
