Amathusia phidippus |
It is The Palm King (A. phidippus). I took the photo, when I walked along the water channel in agroforestry, in my village. The Palm King flew right in front of me and perched on the tree trunk. When I approached, it didn't fly. So it's not difficult to take pictures. However, when it perched, it didn't open its wings, making it difficult to photograph the upper surface of the wings.
